This Creamy Cilantro Sauce is unbelievably scrumptious! The cashews make it so smooth and creamy. It goes well with any type of Mexican food and I also call it my everyday sauce. Why? Because I like it on everything!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 c cashews, see note below
  • 1/2 c water
  • 1/2 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tea salt, optional
  • 1/4 c nutritional yeast
  • 1 jalepeno, small
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1/2 tea cumin
  • 1/4 tea smoked paprika
  • 1/2 head of cilantro

Equipment

  • 1 High speed blender

Method
 

  1. Place all ingredients in the food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth, approximately 2 minutes.
  3. Note - if not using a high speed blender, soak the cashews in hot water for 2 hours or soak overnight.
