Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas or garbanzo beans, no salt or low sodium
  • 1 tsp tamari
  • 1/2 c nutritional yeast
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour + 1 tsp

Method
 

  1. In a small saucepan, add the liquid from the chickpeas along with the tamari sauce. Whisk in the nutritional yeast and the wheat flour until well combined.
  2. Simmer over medium heat until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
  3. Remove from heat and add the chickpeas. Stir until the peas are well covered.
  4. Serve over a baked potato, rice, quinoa, etc. ENJOY!
