These cheesy vegan chickpeas are OH SO CHEESY! They are the perfect topping to a baked potato, rice, quinoa, or let your imagination go wild! A super cheesy flavor with lots of sauce. 4 ingredients and 15 minutes!
1can chickpeas or garbanzo beans, no salt or low sodium
1tsptamari
1/2cnutritional yeast
1tbspwheat flour + 1 tsp
Instructions
In a small saucepan, add the liquid from the chickpeas along with the tamari sauce. Whisk in the nutritional yeast and the wheat flour until well combined.
Simmer over medium heat until the mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat and add the chickpeas. Stir until the peas are well covered.
Serve over a baked potato, rice, quinoa, etc. ENJOY!
