The oat flour can be purchased at the store or made from whole oats. To make the oat flour, process the whole oats in a Vitamix or food processor until it becomes a flour like substance. Store in an airtight container.

Ingredients
Cake Mix
- 3/4 c oat flour
- 3/4 c coconut sugar
- 3/4 c cacao powder
- 1/2 tbsp baking powder, aluminum free
- 1/4 tsp salt, if desired
Mug Cake
- 1/4 c cake mix plus
- 1 tbsp cake mix
- 2 tbsp plant-based milk (almond, soy or preference)
- chocolate chips, dairy-free, if desired
- 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter, if desired
Instructions
- To make the chocolate mug cake mix, simply add all ingredients to glass jar and stir, or place the lid on the jar and give it a good shake until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed through.
- To prepare one chocolate mug cake, place 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of the cake mix in a mug. Add 2 tablespoons of milk and a few dairy free chocolate chips and stir well to combine.
- Place in the microwave to 30 seconds. Allow it rest for a few seconds and then microwave again for 10-30 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave).
- It is ready when there is no longer any raw batter in the center.
- Top with a spoon of your favorite nut butter and a few more dairy-free chocolate chips. Then ENJOY!
