So yummy, chocolatey and delicious. This simple to prepare chocolate mug cake is just the right size for a special sweet treat.  It literally takes minutes to prepare. The frosting is dairy free chocolate chips and/or a spoonful of peanut or almond butter. The chocolate cake is a single serving and sure to please any chocolate lover. It is also oil free and dairy free.

Ingredients
  

Cake Mix

  • 3/4 c oat flour
  • 3/4 c coconut sugar
  • 3/4 c cacao powder
  • 1/2 tbsp baking powder, aluminum free
  • 1/4 tsp salt, if desired

Mug Cake

  • 1/4 c cake mix plus
  • 1 tbsp cake mix
  • 2 tbsp plant-based milk (almond, soy or preference)
  • chocolate chips, dairy-free, if desired
  • 1 tbsp peanut or almond butter, if desired

Instructions
 

  • To make the chocolate mug cake mix, simply add all ingredients to glass jar and stir, or place the lid on the jar and give it a good shake until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed through.

  • To prepare one chocolate mug cake, place 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon of the cake mix in a mug. Add 2 tablespoons of milk and a few dairy free chocolate chips and stir well to combine.

  • Place in the microwave to 30 seconds. Allow it rest for a few seconds and then microwave again for 10-30 seconds (depending on the strength of your microwave).
  • It is ready when there is no longer any raw batter in the center.

  • Top with a spoon of your favorite nut butter and a few more dairy-free chocolate chips. Then ENJOY!
