Oil-Free Marinara Sauce

This oil-free marinara sauce really hits the spot. It can be used as spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, in lasagna and the list goes on. It is super easy and quick to make and can even be stored in the freezer for future use.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1-2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2-1 pitted date (increase, decrease, or leave out depending on taste preference)
  • 1 tsp white miso

Equipment

  • High speed blender

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
