Steamed Kale with Mushrooms

Steaming kale gives it a soft, chewy texture. Pairing the kale along with the mushrooms creates an amazing flavor! It is packed full of nutrition!

- 1 bag chopped kale, large bag
- 1 8 oz sliced mushrooms, carton
- 1/4 cup water
Place the chopped kale and sliced mushrooms in a colander and rinse with water.
Place the kale and mushrooms in a large stock pot along with the water.
Cook over medium heat until a slight boil begins. Then reduce heat and steam for approximately 15-20, minutes adding water as needed.
Remove from heat and allow to stay in pot until the kale leaves are to the softness or texture preferred.
Remove to an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to a week.
