Pickled Onions - 2 Ingredients

Have you tried pickled onions? This recipe is literally two ingredients...super easy, super good! Pickled onions can enhance the flavor of a sandwich, wrap, salad, Buddha bowl, etc. Pickled onions can be a nice change and completely change the flavor profile of the dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 32 oz distilled white vinegar, approximate amount

Instructions
 

  • Peel the onion and thinly slice it.
  • Place the onion slices in an airtight jar.
  • Pour enough vinegar in the jar to cover the top of the onions.
  • Seal the jar with a lid and refrigerate.
  • Let sit overnight or all day then ENJOY!
  • Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

If you find that straight vinegar is too strong for your taste, add some water. Try 1/3 water to 2/3 vinegar.
