Pickled Onions - 2 Ingredients

Have you tried pickled onions? This recipe is literally two ingredients...super easy, super good! Pickled onions can enhance the flavor of a sandwich, wrap, salad, Buddha bowl, etc. Pickled onions can be a nice change and completely change the flavor profile of the dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 32 oz distilled white vinegar, approximate amount

Method
 

  1. Peel the onion and thinly slice it.
  2. Place the onion slices in an airtight jar.
  3. Pour enough vinegar in the jar to cover the top of the onions.
  4. Seal the jar with a lid and refrigerate.
  5. Let sit overnight or all day then ENJOY!
  6. Store in the refrigerator.

Notes

If you find that straight vinegar is too strong for your taste, add some water. Try 1/3 water to 2/3 vinegar.
