- 3/4 cup dairy-free chocolate chips
- 2 banana
- chopped peanuts, coconut flakes, sprinkles, etc. for garnish
Pour the chocolate chips in a small glass bowl. Melt in the microwave. Be careful not to burn or overcook the chocolate. I usually start at half power for 45 seconds, stir and repeat until fully melted. After 2 cycles, I reduce the cook time to 30 seconds while heating and 50% power.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut bananas on a diagonal into 1/2 inch thick pieces.
Dip half of one banana slice in melted chocolate. Let excess drip off. Place the banana slice on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining slices. Sprinkle the chocolate-dipped part of the banana slices with desired garnish.
Place in freezer for approximately 45 minutes until slices are frozen solid.
Remove and enjoy!
