If you are looking for a way to spice up your taco salad, tacos, or any other dish, this Chickpea Chorizo may be the ticket. You can spice them up or down as much as you like. This version is so flavorful and is sure to be a hit for any dish and with all crowds

- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed well
- 1 tsp chili powder, or more (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic, heaping
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
Preheat oven to 400°.
Drain and rinse the chickpeas then pat dry. Add them to a mixing bowl.
To the bowl add the spices and mix well.
Spread spiced chickpeas on a small baking sheet.
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
Allow to cool and place in an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator up to a week.
