Banana Snicker Treats

Get ready for a party in the mouth with these Banana Snicker Treats recipe! It really does remind me of the old days of eating Snickers bars with its yummy caramel, chocolate syrup and chopped peanuts. However, this is a much heathier option for a dessert than a Snickers bar. It is vegan so of course it is dairy free. The vegan chocolate syrup and vegan caramel sauce can also be used for many other yummy desserts. Full of natural ingredients as opposed to the long list of additives and preservatives found in the store bought versions of these products.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/4 c chopped peanuts
  • 1 recipe vegan chocolate sauce https://healthytexasvegan.com/vegan-chocolate-syrup/
  • 1 recipe vegan caramel sauce https://healthytexasvegan.com/vegan-caramel-sauce/

Instructions
 

  • Peel the bananas and cut into thirds.
  • Cut off a thin slice of the banana length-wise to create a flat surface for the top.
  • Place the banana slices on a platter or in an 8x8 pan with the flat surface on top.
  • Coat the top (flat side) of the banana with the vegan caramel sauce. Recipe link is below in notes.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce with the vegan chocolate syrup. Recipe link is below in notes.
  • Add the chopped peanuts as a topping.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the syrup and caramel to set.
  • Store in the refrigerator.
